Jérémie Jourdin



Jérémie is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, boasting over 23 years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as the CTO of Advens, Jérémie has been an integral part of the organization since 2006.

With a background that includes over a decade as an ethical hacker, Jérémie gained insights into cybersecurity through conducting audits and penetration tests. Eager to broaden his expertise, he transitioned to the defender side of cybersecurity, focusing on developing security software and operating within Advens’ Security Operation Center (SOC).

In his current role, Jérémie spearheads the Research and Development efforts of the company, leading a team of 30 developers. The team develops cutting-edge tools leveraging technologies such as machine-learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced algorithms to detect and protect customers against known and emerging threats.

Jérémie is also involved in UNIX teaching. He is a FreeBSD addict and contributes to several Open Source projects, including rsyslog and VultureProject. On a personal level, Jérémie has a passion for mechanics and DIY projects. He also enjoys raising some sheep and Koï carp
